Back to the future

Well, here we are again at yet another iteration of Kevin Holtsberry Dot Com.  I ended up having to change hosting companies to get this thing to work.  And there are probably still lots of missing pieces and parts as I continue transitioning over to the new host.

Whatever you do, NEVER USE IPOWER/IPOWERWEB!!!! I can't stress this enough.  When I first started this site I used them as they had a very economical package compared to other hosting companies.  But somewhere along the line they ceased being a workable company.  I had a problem with the cgi script that they couldn't figure out or wouldn't admit it was their servers.  And just getting the site transfered was a nightmare.  There customer service had waits of 45 minutes to an hour and they too days to respond to an email and then only to ask for verification so I could wait another few days to get someone to ask me to repeat the question.  Worst customer service I have had in my life.  So never even think about signing up with them to save a few bucks a month.

In case you haven't been following things around here, this URL will be my personal blog where I talk about whatever strikes my fancy: sports, culture, my family, my career, you name it.  Hence the tag line: just another vanity site.
