Bracketology

Filed Under Sports: Col BB

Well, March Madness is upon us folks. I must admit that this year I was too distracted to really pay attention to the NCAA. I kind of half paid attention; using peripheral vision almost. But I felt I had to fill out a bracket anyway. Here is my bracket picks if you are interested. I have Kentucky, Pittsburgh, Arizona, Duke, Texas, Maryland, Oklahoma, and Syracuse in the Elite Eight and UK, Duke, MD, and SYR in the Final Four. Kentucky and Maryland are set to play in the Final with Kentucky winning the Big Dance.

All of this is of course wild guessing on my part so it should be interesting to see how it all works out. I will be competing with other sports fans in a yahoo bracket challenge put together by Dan Lewis. I will also be matching wits with other bloggers via Spudlets. Let the games begin!

I have watched Maryland play a couple of times this year, and they don’t have enough firepower to make it to the Final Four. Their big men have talent but seem to fall a little short on desire, and Blake does not fill the role that Juan Dixon did.
