OK, after much mucking about I finally decided what I am going to do with this blog.  I am not going to syndicate the content from my other blogs.

Instead, I am just going to use this as a more personal blog.  I will post about sports, family, culture, and whatever else strikes my fancy.

The last couple of posts from my other blogs, however, are now available on the top of the left sidebar.  Just in case you wonder what I am up to on the other sites.

So to clear things up:

Books = Collected Miscellany

Politics/election 2008 = Obama’s Con

Everything Else = this site

I am sure this has been helpful for the 20 visitors I get a day . . .

I have decided to experiment with using software to import the blogs I post elsewhere into this blog.  So KH Dot Com will essentially be the place you can read everything I blog (or nearly everything).  That way you can read it all in one place.  If you want individualized content you can go to the individual blogs and read the niche content.

I am experimenting with this so bear with me as I see how it works.  Meanwhile I hope you enjoy reading.

I have decided to make a change.  After having used Word Press for work and in helping with my church’s website I decided to switch over for my personal blog.  I find WP easier to use and more flexible and dynamic.  Sorry MT, that is just the way it is.

I also wanted to make a fresh break from this particular blog and URL.  I just felt like there was too much baggage and debris here and I need a fresh start somewhere else.

So I have created a new blog which you can find here.  I hope to blog there more regularly than I have here.  Most likely on the normal subjects: sports, culture, family, etc.

I plan to leave everything her for archival sake.  Ahh, the memories . . .

So click on over the new place and check it out.  Leave a comment and let me know what you think.

This is my new personal blog.  I have decided to stop using Movable Type and start using WordPress.  I still haven’t arranged everything but this is the start. So if you stumble upon this site I figured I needed an explanation.

Well, here we are again at yet another iteration of Kevin Holtsberry Dot Com.  I ended up having to change hosting companies to get this thing to work.  And there are probably still lots of missing pieces and parts as I continue transitioning over to the new host.

Whatever you do, NEVER USE IPOWER/IPOWERWEB!!!! I can’t stress this enough.  When I first started this site I used them as they had a very economical package compared to other hosting companies.  But somewhere along the line they ceased being a workable company.  I had a problem with the cgi script that they couldn’t figure out or wouldn’t admit it was their servers.  And just getting the site transfered was a nightmare.  There customer service had waits of 45 minutes to an hour and they too days to respond to an email and then only to ask for verification so I could wait another few days to get someone to ask me to repeat the question.  Worst customer service I have had in my life.  So never even think about signing up with them to save a few bucks a month.

In case you haven’t been following things around here, this URL will be my personal blog where I talk about whatever strikes my fancy: sports, culture, my family, my career, you name it.  Hence the tag line: just another vanity site.

I thought I would check in and offer my typical apology. I can’t believe I haven’t posted anything to this website since February! Time slips through my hands like sand these days. I will try to post some pictures tonight to bring you up-to-date on the adorable Ella.

I am also exploring some software options that would make it easier to upload photos to the site. The blog software I am using isn’t really ideal.

I hope everyone had a wonderful Easter, we certainly did.

If you are wondering why the pictures aren’t functioning it is my fault. I uploaded the pictures using another domain and when I made changes to that site it removed the pictures. Never fear, I will get it all sorted out. Sorry for the inconvenience.

Sorry or the lack of posting lately. Having a child apparently keeps you very busy! Those clamoring for more pictures never fear. I will try to post some new photos tonight. All is well at the Holtsberry household for the most part. More later . . .
